"This is not the way my third shift is suppose to go."
Travel along with Clara Price, a twenty-four year old mother on a journey in a post-apocalyptic world to find her five year old son after a virus ripples through the country; killing millions. Relying on hope that her son is alive with her parents, and Jasper; the only other person who was alive with her while others began to drop around them.
With miles between mother and son, Clara and Jasper make the journey to her parents farm. Through the ruins of cars and bodies on the streets of their town, and the dangers of the cities they must get through, they will face others who survived the 'death wave', a plaque. Clara will fight against time, trust, and maybe even the dead to get to her child.

I originally wrote this story a year ago after reading a couple dystopian trilogies. Now that I look back on it it's kinda ironic considering the current situation.
