Life is hard, no use denying it. Adair Wallace, being pushed into the war between her country, Amexada, and "The Enemy" at only 17, has risen to a commanding rank quickly. Now at 20, the pressure of lives dependent on her takes it's toll, even with supportive loved ones.

This sounds kinda edgy but there's some fluff here too. Just trying out a story, honestly I don't even know where this is going but it seems good. Please let me know if I should continue, just a thumbs up/down in the comments will do but more in depth reviews are fantastic! I don't know how to explain it but it felt as though my brain was tearing in two, like my head was cracking open. When the pain stopped, I found myself surrounded by wolves, the shifted pups. Looking down at myself, I only see my body, no paws and no fur. I hadn't shifted... ✨🌕✨ Book 2* 'The Wolven King' is the first book and must be read in order to understand this one. ⚠️ WARNING!! This book is is written in the far future were war is raging throughout the world permanently halting all innovations. Humanity wanting to finally bring it all to an end only finds one way to solve it. End humanity as we know it. Governments across the globe found that humanity wasn't what it was before and had become dark and terrible to live in, so to fix that they made a small utopia pulling in families, scientists, and important government officials to create the perfect pair of humans. Those two humans would be trained to kill what humanity has become and start it all over, so the world would be a better place. But once they make the female, they find that she is not like her partner. She has a different goal in mind than restarting humanity. This is my first book, so it may have a few mess ups but I hope you enjoy, I have worked hard to at least get this out. "Let them go, Dante." I whip my head to see a small boy standing the clearing with blonde hair and a green cloak hanging from shoulders. He isn't very tall however he holds his stance well. He doesn't seem to be more than Cassandra's age. Maybe 12 at most. I abruptly turn my head back hearing the man holding a sword to my throat chuckling with a sinister grin. "Oh, poor boy, what are you go to do about it?" The yellow teeth gleam as he begins stalking towards the boy who does not look the least bit fazed. I look around at the other men who are following the leader. I pull Cassandra tighter to my back as I take small steps back. I keep my eye trained on the men but also fear for the naive boy. "Do you really want to test me Dante?" He asks raising a single eyebrow. For a minute the men stop their movements. I see their hesitation for fear... Fear of what? I take the moment to stick Cassandra behind a nearby tree. She crouches down while I pull my sword out from its place. "How do you know my name?" The scoundrel raises his sword challenging towards the boy before taking a final step towards him. Then the unexpected happens. The young boy chuckles so darkly. It sounded almost... demonic. All the men instinctively raise their swords. "Oh Dante, I didn't know your name... but you know someone dear to me." "Spit it out boy!" The once grinning man is now looking around frantically. I continue my eyes scanning the small boy. He looks directly me and gives me a small nod before saying one word that caused all hell to breaks loose. "Artemis." Artemis is not an ordinary girl. She grew up in the wilderness after being shunned due to unique abilities and her different physical attributes. Blessed with an ability that scared others, she roams the wild with only her guarded one. That is until she stumbles into a situation that brings her in front of a prince.
