"Come out. I heard you're loud ass footsteps a while ago.", she looked towards the bush, searching for the tall stranger.
She waited another second.
"Boy I don't have all day. Either come out or I'm leaving.", she motioned to walk away.
"Okay fine." A tall man with jet black hair and crystal eyes came out from the bush. She stood there straight faced with her arms crossed."I didn't mean to frighten you. Did I scare you?", the man's deep voice ranged through her ears.
"No. Is there any reason I should've been, because I'm not scared to cut a person.", she tighten her grip on her purse.
"Oh no. Don't worry I won't hurt you."
"That's something someone who'll hurt me would say. Who are you?"
"I'm Hades. And I would never want to hurt you, my love."

"I've told you, Hades, I can not become your mistress." she sadly told him. She had always lived in her mother's shadow, and if she followed Hades, she would once again be living in another's shadow. Even though she loved him, she did not think she could stomach it. "I do not want you to be my mistress, Persephone, I want you to be my queen," he confessed to her. She snapped her head up to meet his eyes, searching for any sign he wanted to take his words back, but there was no remorse. And just like that, she fell ever so slightly more in love with him. "Your queen?" she asked, she had to be sure. Strangely the word had slid off her tongue gracefully as if it had belonged there. "Yes, become my queen," he told her once again, taking back the step she had taken. "Rule besides me as the goddess of spring and the Underworld." I said turning to Zavian ,my anger surfacing. "When did I say I didn't want to do nothing with you?" He asked stepping closer. "You were the one who said it yesterday!!" I shouted at his face. "I want to do unspeakable things to you." He whispered. I froze. Shit, I shouldn't let his words affect me. "Zavian, get out." I said lowly. "And I can do those things right now." Persephone has already been kidnapped by Hades, her unwanted and unexpected suitor. Demeter has already cast a famine on all the humans in her grief. Hades struggles to win Persephone over...but perhaps Persephone has always been meant to be with him, and she wasn't an innocent as she was thought she was... This is a rewrite of my previous fan fiction "Tales of Hades and Persephone" as well as some inspiration from the original myth (and perhaps other retellings I enjoy). Hades has been alone for far too long. One day he pays a visit to Zeus and requests to marry Persephone. The King of the Gods agrees and even recommends Hades kidnap Persephone, since it's unlikely Demeter will agree to the marriage. Persephone is a young Goddess of Earth curious about the world of the mortals. She's always helping her mother Demeter, but one day while watching the mortals she wanders off only to fun into a handsome stranger. After a brief conversation, Persephone finds herself swept away to the Underworld. Will Hades manage to get Persephone to fall in love with him?
