Disclaimer: I wrote this when I was 15 so it is a bit cliché, and many mistakes in the story:)
All Brooklyn's life, she's been more of a boy than a girl. She's only ever lived with her single dad and her three older brothers, which means she was bound to grow up more like them.
So, when she moved all the way from New York to Tennessee, it wasn't much of a surprise until she met Alex, the one of many popular boys at the high school. Until she realized that Alex decided to make her life a living hell.
Well, that's what Brooklyn thought, at least...

"He leaned in and put a hand behind my head to kiss me, leaving me frozen and speechless. Almost instinctively, after a moment of processing, I stood on my tippy toes and replaced my fingers in his hair, my other hand on his neck.
Butterflies exploded in my stomach, replacing my hunger for food, as he pressed me against a vacant wall. Without a word, he lifted me up while my legs wrapped around his waist, leaning in closer to him, even after there was no more space to fill."

I stand up, not being able to handle this, "You're telling me, we're moving to some hick town in the middle of hell, two months into my senior year of high school?" My voice getting louder, "What kind of nightmare is this? You're joking right?" I stop pacing and turn to my parents.
"This is all a joke. Mom would never leave this," I motion around me, "New York, none the less."
Mom nods, "We're moving to Eatonton, Georgia and that's final."
