This is a Sonadow AU where Shadow is an alien from a different universe. He finds Mobius and tries to become the most powerful... but without anyone noticing him. He is trying to become one of them. Over time, he figures out that Sonic is the quote on quote "ultimate lifeform" on Mobius. He tries to become acquaintances with Sonic so he can learn their culture... as things take a turn. After freeing Emerl from his destructive programming, Sonic hoped he didn't do too much damage so he can bring him home. Unfortunately, the damage became severe for the childlike robot. As Emerl says his final goodbye to Sonic and his friends that treated him with kindness and compassion, a light flashes, enveloping the Gizoid. And as the light dissipates, Emerl was no longer there. He was truly gone.............or so the blue hedgehog thought. Unbeknownst to Sonic and his friends, Emerl was teleported to a different world, but not without a heavy cost.
