Sonic the Hedgehog, hero of Mobius/Earth, had defeated Emerl the ultimate Gizoid that the blue blur raised as his own. After freeing Emerl from his destructive programming, Sonic hoped he didn't do too much damage so he can bring him home. Unfortunately, the damage became severe for the childlike robot. As Emerl says his final goodbye to Sonic and his friends that treated him with kindness and compassion, a light flashes, enveloping the Gizoid. And as the light dissipates, Emerl was no longer there.
