On an abandoned island, five cat clans thrive, but dangers still lurk within the clans and outside of them.
In ValleyClan, a young apprentice, Hazelpaw is deemed as her Clan's WindRunner, a cat that can run fast, hear better, see better and sometimes summon wind. But after an incident by the river, Hazelpaw is beaten by her mother and runs to PeakClan where the secrets are unleashed.
