Walbeary Mental Institution was a place where mentally Ill people went. It wasn't like the ones back in the 40's where they gave you electrical shocks to try cure your mind or if you were naughty you got whipped with a cane, no this was place where parents dropped off their children when they couldn't be bothered taking care of them. This is a place where you end up if you've had a couple street and school fights, got mixed with gangs and drugs, and end up stabbing a few grown men. Well, that's what how Bonnie ended up at Walbeary anyway.
Bonnie Edwards, a 17 year old girl who came here when she was 13 years old after she had just stabbed 4 grown men.
Bonnie has a best friend at Walbeary called Caroline Short, over the years Bonnie and Caroline have been the life and soul of not only Ward 39 but the whole Institution. Wherever they went everybody said hello and smiled but of cause they did cause trouble wherever they went as well and always ended up doing the things they shouldn't.
Bonnie and Caroline's lives are about to change when both their pasts catch up with them and let's not forget the newbie on Ward 39, Dallas Ponberg.
