These are semi short poems that helped me think about what I was feeling within relationships and myself. I hope these help others or inspire them to not bottle up everything, it will eventually eat you alive. I have plans on publishing them but thought I would try it out on here first. Please don't hesitate and give feedback! These are very personal and should not be used as ammunition. I started writing this late 2023 and until now 2024. This book is not yet complete!

I'm posting this looking for some feedback. Any constructive criticism will be greatly appreciated. Writing has always provided me with solace, by helping me to sort through and frame my emotional experience. During one of the more difficult times in my life--recognizing a toxic marriage and leaving--I used writing to understand what was happening. The poems, short stories, and essays here reflect my fragmented journey toward mental health. Works of art, they are not. However, I hope they can help others with their own journeys, even if only to provide comfort in knowing that they are not alone. Trigger Warning: The following includes depictions of suicidal thoughts, depression, and anxiety.

The Words I couldn't Say by -silentmochi

This is a place for me to put all the things I wish I said but I just couldn't. These are a way for me to "say" these things without actually saying them to the person I want to. I probably won't ever go back or read any of these because it's like revisiting a bad memory so don't expect much in terms of editing. Also I wouldn't consider this poetry but it is laid out that way. WARNING Talk of depression, suicide, anxiety, and self harm. Don't read if you don't like things like that and may get triggered. Some late night thoughts, memories and feelings that turned into words. Most of these are written from my personal, very tragic life, however there are some inspired by friends, books and movies. Sometimes I even find old writings in a long forgotten drawer and upload them as well. Maybe You can relate to something as well? Honestly at this point it's more like a public diary but who cares. I started this a few years ago, so mistakes and moments of cringe are inevitable. Feel free to leave a comment if you see a grammatical or editorial error!
