There are many cases of animals that are enemies with one another. The crows and snowy owls of Redwood County, Idaho, are one example, fighting over food every time they come across each other

Nero is an American black crow who not other animals. Fascinated by humans and everything about them, he observes them on a daily basis, to the point where his fellow crows think of him as being antisocial. Despite this, he is aware of the conflict between his own kind and the snowy owls. Since he dislikes it due to his own kind being wounded or killed, he wonders if it the conflict will ever end

When a new and bigger problem arises between the crows and snowy owls, Nero pulls himself into it as the third party, determined to put an end to the conflict between the two parties once and for all.
