When I realized what she was really asking me to do, tears started streaming down my face. "Mom I'm not going to leave you!" I scream, "We didn't even get any time to be a real family! I'm nothing without you mom!" I say looking down at the ground, not wanting to meet her eyes.
"Sweetheart, you are so much without me, so much more than I am or ever could be, I love you, always remember that."
"Mom..." I choke on my words, "I... won't leave you here to die."
"You don't have a choice. Oh, and Adya? Be brave." She said softly.
