Nicolette Kennedy is a rather average high school senior. She's athletic, has good grades, great friends, and an amazing family. So what makes her different from the rest?

She has the opportunity to go back in time once to wherever in time she wants to go to and she can use this opportunity whenever she wants. Nicolette has known about this ability for quite a while but hadn't decided to use it yet.

When Gideon Chamberlain, a well known athlete at her school, is killed in a tragic car accident just days before graduation, the whole school is devestated. Despite the fact that he is well known, Nicolette did not know him personally but that does not mean it didn't have any effect on her. She mourns his loss just like everyone else.

After a lot of thought, Nicolette uses her opportunity and goes back in time to a month before Gideon is killed. She bumps into him in the hallway the very first day she goes back and they talk for a while. They hit it off immediately and exchange numbers, deciding to have lunch later.

Over the span of that month they spend a lot more time together and Nicolette finds herself falling in love with him. With her new found feelings, Nicolette starts to panic more and more the closer his death date got.

The night before he is supposed to die, she stays with him in hopes that the next morning she can save him from his tragic fate.

Will she succeed or will something worse than before happen because she messed with time?
