All this time, there have been people watching over us. People protecting us and preserving peace. They've been alive since the beginning of time. The secret organization known as the 23, a specialized group of 23 people who live and fight together to protect the world. Their souls are even literally bound together.

When Delaney Hunts was exiled from her home, the Hunts Clan, she basically shrugs it off and lives on the streets of the town that is the center of the clan's attention, LaVelle. This is a town where witches, vampires, and elemental benders are normal. Delaney herself is a Bender, a being that is able to control their surroundings to do her doing. Due to her violent nature she was raised in, she lives off by stealing and mugging people, and is dubbed the Devil of LaVelle.

One day, Delaney is arrested and brought to an unescapable prison. Luckily, she is broken out by four members of the 23, and they claim that she is their 22nd member they are looking for.

There's a new evil lurking in the shadows, however... The organization known as the Lialok. Led by the notorious Olivia, their dream in life is to destroy the 23 and take their place as head of the world.

When the Lialok challenge them to a battle for the top, the 23 accept gratefully, anything to get them off their backs. Although, with the many creatures the enemies have on their side, they definitely have met their match.

But there are more secrets hidden between the two powerful groups: From forbidden loves to betrayals... Are their powers too much for them to handle? An action packed adventure you won't be able to stop reading.

Ariella's biggest desire in life has always been such a simple one. She wants to be 'normal.' Unfortunately, that one simple wish has never been within her grasp. Coming from a long line of witches is bad enough, but she's even more different than the rest of her family. The fact that no one will give her any answers to why she's so different doesn't help matters. Her entire existence is shrouded in secrets that everyone around her refuses to reveal. After a family tragedy, she moves to a new town, and she gets her first chance to at least pretend to be 'normal.' For the first time, she's allowed to leave the house and go to an actual school. She makes friends, and she develops her first crush, that's quickly followed by her second. She's finally living the normal teenage life she'd dreamed of, but it doesn't last. Everything she believed about herself and the world around her is changed in an instant. Family secrets come to light one after another, turning her entire world upside down in the process. She quickly realizes that sometimes ignorance really is bliss, and maybe she didn't really want to know the answers to the questions she'd always asked, especially when one of these truths causes people close to her to turn their backs on her without hesitation. Before she can even recover from the shock, she's thrust into a war that she hadn't even known existed. Loyalties will be tested. She'll have to choose sides between all of the people she's come to care about. Will she stand with her family, her new friends, or the two boys who both hold a piece of her heart? One thing is for sure. She'll have to let go of her dream of 'normal.'

The Metal Children

17 parts Complete

When an unknown girl with fear in her eyes and bruises on her skin appeared at the doorstep of a coffee shop one late night, Haru and Bea took her in and explain to her what she really was and why she could bend elements. Unfortunately, a group of secret government force was after her, and was determined to wipe out the modern-day city of Sarcurs clean of her, and the likes of her. Realizing that their enemies were closer, Haru had to protect her people - Benders of South City of Sarcurs - and finally had to call in her subordinates, The Bronze Children, to prepare against the anti-bending secret government force. Her responsibility as the head of the benders in South City of Sarcurs, and as one of the four Silver Children, had to be her priority, despite trying to run her normal mortal life in order to fit in into the society. Because you see, they all believed benders are horrible monsters. *This edition is the first draft of The Metal Children. I'm currently revising and editing the settings and characters' personality, but the plot will remain the same.
