A 16 year old boy by the name Damien Carter lives in the fictional city Whento City, but he finally gets a taste of the good life when his parent careers took off and took them out of the hood.
His mother is now a successful business women and his father is a military officer.
Although Damien had a good life, he couldn't help but worry about how bad the people in the streets lived (being one of them most his life). His father though doesn't care about the streets anymore with his main focus being threat of terrorism to the country.
With the father and son having different opinions on what should the country focus on (cleaning the streets VS fighting terrorism) the 2 often but heads.
One day Damien decides to take his fathers experimental weapons to take street justice into his own hands.
(I plan on trying to sit down and write a chapter everyday, by finding 20 minutes a day)

" I'm sick of you putting your hands on me Johnny!" A loud gunshot went off, echoing around the house, and for the first time, it was quiet. No more door slamming, no more cleaning up my mother's blood off the walls, and no more fighting. I remember asking my mother "Are we free?" I swear it felt like Christmas or New Year's. All I can hear is cheering in my head or maybe ringing. For the first time in 12 years Mother and I were able to sleep that hot summer night in bed together. April's life changed once she saw her dad Johnny get murdered right in front of her, by her mother June. A self-defense case quickly turned to manslaughter and the law turned against June at the drop of a hat. June was sentenced to 25 to life, a then 14-year-old April was left alone. Her dad said didn't want anything to do with her as she was defending her mother and June never knew her parents as she grew up in group homes. April is now a 25-year-old private eye and teaches self-defence classes in honour of her mother. On her off days, she works at a gentleman's club called "The Claw" where she meets Derek Hill and their life is forever changed. But April has a secret and no one will ever find out, cause if you did you'll end up just like Johnny. ❌This book is not for the weak❌ 21+

This story that I'm posting is going to be a comic book down the road, but I'm just putting some of the rough draft out to get some eyes on my story!!! It's an Action/Adventure Following a young African American male, dealing with the problems of his mother that is originally not from Earth, being tracked by his mother's people he will be facing the trials and the repercussion of his mother's actions. If I could give it a content rating I would most definitely say R-rated.
