Louise Carter, the football star, the cheerleading captain, the straight A student, the centre of attention, always thought life would last forever. But when she lost her little sister on a "rainy" day, everything changed.
Feeling guilty for what happened the 12th August, 2005. Louise struggles with the grief and guilt for not being able to save her sister. She starts seeing her in her dreams every night along with her shadow next to her every day.
And when she meets Jack Collins, the new cute boy in town, a new adventure starts as she takes her sister's favourite purple umbrella, a deep breath and Jack's hand, ready to walk the path to say her final goodbye and let go of the grief and guilt, once and for all.
But will she be able to finish what she's starting as Jack comes with secrets himself? Darker than she ever could have guessed...

I walk out my dorm building to the cafe. Just as I'm about to open the door I hear a person call out my name. I turn around to see the person jogging towards me. Hey that person kind of looks like Jase. Wait a minute... That is Jase. "Jase?!" I ask. "What the hell is wrong with you? Why would you just leave and not tell anyone?!
