In ancient times, the lands were divided in to four. Each worshipped there own pokemon gods. Time Kingdom worshipped Dialga. Space Kingdom worshipped Palkia. Distortion Kingdom worshipped Giratina. And Genesis Kingdom, the most powerful kingdom which worshipped Arceus, this kingdom is also the one that hosts the sacrifice ceremony. Since Arceus is already complete, he doesn't need any sacrifice now. 

Every 200 years, each kingdom, except Genesis Kingdom, must send 3 women to be offered as sacrifice to the god they worship.
But of the three only one can be chosen as a sacrifice to one god.

So, among the 9 women only three will be lost.

However, will this change when Serena, one of the three women that was chosen, was fancied by all three gods?

Who will she end up with?

She can only expect the unexpected...
