When the World Union was formed, peace was created. An everlasting purge from violence, that eradicated the idea of disapproval toward political power, rebellions, and endless tirades of blunt satire. The government took over, implementing their power to control their repressive order over their citizens. They formed a new class, a new world, a new order. Freedom was enabled to unify their people of the illusion of democracy. To ensure tranquility, they created the Testing. A process in which a child turning 18, would be eligible. Passing meant fulfilling a person's duty in society. If a person failed, they would undergo the Cleansing. A place to be cleansed of the violence. Peace may be everlasting, but what is a world when even freedom is limited.

In a society engineered to perfection, children are not born from mothers but in test tubes. They grow up in loveless nurseries, competing relentlessly to rise and catch the eye of the nine families who uphold the world's order. Each Father selects its future disciples, and depending on the lineage assigned, bodies are genetically modified to embody their spirit animal, amplifying their abilities until they become flawless cogs in the social machine. But when a structure is built on segregation and fear, balance is destined to collapse. From one of these cold nurseries, an unexpected rebellion emerges-a movement that uncovers an unsettling truth: no species deserves to rule over the others. Ambition, like a virus, infects every animal. And sooner or later, the virus must be eradicated.
