Yes, Salvatore as in the Salvatore brothers Damon and Stefan. When she was 16 years old, back in 1864, her brothers met a girl named Katherine Pierce who was a vampire. Katherine turned Emily and her brothers into vampires. She left Mystic Falls with Damon after that and returned 2 years ago with her brothers. Taylor Lockwood is the youngest Lockwood sibling. Yes, Lockwood as in Mayor Lockwood, the one who died. When she was 16 she activated her werewolf curse. She's about to turn 17 years old and is still living in Mystic Falls.
