Year X. We jumped too much into the future. A future nothing existed. A future that was devastated. We thought it wasn't real. That THIS wasn't real. We expected blue, green, pink buildings, cars, people crowding the streets. This...... This let us down. This not supposed to be real. The time machine..... it's broken. It has sent us to the wrong future.
But, no. Never. We're talking about his invention. Nothing ever goes wrong. He don't do mistakes.
It's always our fault. Our mistakes. Wrong button, pressed. Wrong pedal, stepped. Wrong future, went. Nothing mattered to us. We were only a bunch of teenagers want to see the future.
Sorry, Dad. I won't be eating dinner with Mom and you tonight.
And also, for stealing and definitely breaking the machine.
