kathryn wakefield was born into a poor family - her dad had died before she had gotten to know him and her mom had neither the funds or the willpower to look after her.

so, she grew up in a girls' home.

at age 8, however, she was sold into work and became a street-vendor, mainly selling flowers.

she sees a stray dog in the streets and decides to keep it, as her boss didn't care "as long as she was responsible for it". she called him juno.

her and juno create an unbreakable bond, and he has learned many tricks with her.

at age 14, these tricks just so happen to lead her into the circus.
