Hundreds of different alarms are going off in my head just listening to him speak.

His voice strictly conveyed the tone of business. The thing is he doesn't want me, but he needs me.

I was slowly starting to lose it, who does he think he is?

Does he really think I would put my whole life on pause for him?

"what if, I don't agree," I say quietly, sticking my ground and staring him in the face.

A shiver went down my spine as his eyes changed colors within the span of a second.

He holds a strong facade, as if the mate bond causes no harm to him. It seemed to easy, how does he play it off?

His eyes were completely black now. The lack of color running goosebumps down my arms and neck.
