Two strangers-one human, the other inhuman-are thrust into an enigmatic world, one that feels as alien as it is unsettling. Neither remembers their past, identities, or how they came to be in this strange place. All they have left are their names and an inexplicable, powerful sense of loyalty to one another, a weird bond that went over time and memory. As they explore their new surroundings, they encounter others; locals of a world split into small pocket lands, which they call "layers". Haunted by fleeting, cryptic visions and driven by the need for answers, the pair ventures deeper into the unknown. Along the way, they must confront both external threats and the inner turmoil of discovering who-or what-they truly are. With each step, the mystery of their relocation unravels, revealing not only the secrets of the world they now inhabit but also the deeper, more unsettling truth of the lives they left behind.
