Back in 2006 the popular Detroit TV host Elizabeth Wood gets the chance of a lifetime to interview one of the most famous rappers in the world, Eminem. She fails. Her boss who happens to be her abusive boyfriend leaves her homeless after the unsuccess, blaming her for ruining his reputation. The rapper helps her find her way back.
