She was worth at least 3 million dollars at auction. It was rare for them to have and sell white slaves. Therefore when they do have them sold, they fetched a Hefty price at auction, and even more so if they are a real beauty. It also doesn't help that she is from Germany.

At first she was sold to a nobleman who was very rich out in the country for about a year till he died and she had to be sold again.

That year she was beaten, whipped, cut open, and dragged by her feet by a wagon.

That thankfully taught her how to keep her mouth shut most of the time and behave.
