This is just a short story. It's very loosely based on African slave miners-VERY loosely, like I said it's a fiction and pretty much the only researched facts were to help give a bit of a visual of the main character. Also, it could be considered kinda gory so don't read if you want to avoid that.

Although I have written a few books (Okay 3 books including this one) I mainly write to relax. This is the first time that I will be sharing my writing with others and I have a huge fear of rejections so please be kind in your comments. They only meet at night, the cliff being their meeting place. They never make plans to meet there and honestly Jamison would rather the mystery boy stop coming, but of course that doesn't happen, so he has to live until the boy decides to not show. This book has heavy mentions of abuse, manipulation, and suicide. If any of these subjects triggers you, please don't continue to read, this is for your own mental health.
