"As a mother, you must understand that I did everything, in my power, to show my son the right way of life. My child is strong and passionate in what he does. He is a singer, dancer, actor, teacher, and the most important thing in my life. Even if he was working at McDonald's, barely paying his rent on time and always asking for money from me, at least he's man enough to admit his weaknesses. I grew up optimistic and I will continue seeing the best side of things as long as I live." She spoke calmly, her voice echoing in the packed gym. "For you to even think of touching or beating on my boy makes me happy. He is finally being recognized as a threat to you and finally making his way into your destroying every bit of confidence you had moments before." I felt a tear run down my face as I bowed my head in shame. She clicked her tongue before lifting my head and smiling gently towards me. "You're so empty inside, aren't you? You've got no love left to give, only hatred and vengeance lies in your heart. It is sad because you are no longer depressed, just...empty. You see the life and the happiness in my son's eyes and knowing that you can't steal it you've decided to destroy it. Or at least to, but you failed because deep down you want him to succeed so you can share his happiness." Share. She said share. I felt my face harden and I smacked her hand away from my face. I saw him storm towards me but I didn't care. All my thoughts were consumed by the word 'share'. "Sharing is caring, big brother, so give me some."All Rights Reserved
