Kai is nine now. Scarlett is eleven. Jeremy and Theo are still together, facing the aftermath of Jeremy's attack as a couple. A new job opportunity has Theo questioning whether conquering the architecture world is worth living apart from his family. A family Theo has been considering making legal for over a year now. Struggling with PTSD, sleep insomnia, balancing his gigs now that things have taken off with his band, and spending time with Theo and the kids, Jeremy has had a lot on his plate recently. The band keeps pulling him in the opposite direction of his family. With new gigs popping up every weekend, he's continually having to pick between the kids and Theo, or his livelihood. Recent concerns have him wondering if he's grown too dependent upon Theo to take care of him. Kai is in elementary and Scarlett is entering middle school. A new school dynamic has the young girl becoming more distant with her fathers, and more social within her peer group.
