Eighteen year old Jupiter 'Rebel' McKenna is three things: reckless, sarcastic and stubborn, and also happens to have a thing for fire. But after the horrific tragedy of her family's death, she realises that maybe fire isn't such a good thing anymore. Especially not after her lighter was found at the scene.

Jupiter is forced to move in with an aunt she's never heard of, in a town the size of a peanut with somebody who wants the world to know her secret, somebody she thought she could trust. But it seems like Jupiter isn't the only one keeping secrets around here, Jupiter's aunt is hiding something, so is her best friend and the cute firecracker she met on the rooftop.

So what is everyone hiding? and what will happen when the secrets start coming out?
