The continuation of my previous story Something Like Summer. This is the 2nd part of the trilogy, with the last being Something Like Spring. It has passed 2 years since Oskar met Aaron for the first time. They haven't talked to each other since then. Aaron lives his best life with his friends and girlfriend, as a popular boy. He quickly forgot about Oskar. Oskar also has his accountable friends, but the day he met Aaron for the first time in 2013 he fell in love with him. He tried to hide it for a long time. One year later in summer 2014 Oskar finally admits to himself he's in love with Aaron, but it seems like their ways had been separated for good. Another year flies by, and now we have the autumn of 2015. 14-years old Oskar begins his 3rd and last grade of junior high school in Poland. The boy tries to accept the fact that Aaron, 16, ended the same junior high school a few months ago and that he won't be seeing him on corridors anymore during breaks. They meet though, at the same school. One incident will bring closer boys to each other for the first time. However, Aaron is clearly only into girls. He was the one practically pinning me against the wall right now. I press my right pointy finger into the bare skin of his chest, pushing him away from me with it. „I've said it to you once, Nikolai, and I'll say it one more time so even you can comprehend it. You're. Not. That. Damn. Important. Not everyone wants to be close to you. Not everyone cares for you attention. Not everyone, and certainly not me!" And with that I brush past him, not turning around when walking away. I hurry around a corner, until I'm out of his sight. Only then do I allow myself to slow down. Only then do I allow myself to breathe. Only then do I allow myself to touch the part of my jaw where his hand had traced my skin. ~~~ June Lockwood loves to win. Nikolai Coleman cannot afford to loose. When the two of them meet at Everlance Academy, the most elite boarding school for competitive athletes in all of England, it's like stars colliding.
