The war between elves and humans has finally ended, and now the two races have decided to live divided, far away from from each other to prevent their burning hatred from turning into another war. But how long will this fake peace last?
Xix Noicx is half elf and half human. Abandoned by his parents and treated like a demon child by everyone, he travels though the mountains. When he finally seems to be able to make a new friend, that friend appears to be the prince of a kingdom inhabited by humans. Xix tries to not concern himself with the people and the royal family of the kingdom as much as possible. But when this turns out to be impossible because of his friendship with the prince, how will his actions influence the kingdom? And could it be that his decisions may lead to a new war between humand and elves? Which side should he choose?

Searon has to turn his defensive ideas to the wizard Karceoles, and the new elven archer he just met Anaela. He begins to develop a fondness for Anaela right away, a fondness that isn't shown from even the rest of the elves, because she is an outcast- being the only wood elf in a high elf city. Normally Searon would confide in his good elven friend Starlyn, but she had an important task that she had to leave on in secret. Nobody seems to know where Starlyn went, or what was so important to her that she abandoned them, and her lifelong cause of finding her sister Arria. Meanwhile while she's gone Arria beings to surface once again, finally coming from the shadows to reek havoc on Sudegam.
