She stood upon the rooftop of the Louvre, red hair whipping around her face. She extended the gun in her hand once more. "You want to visit prison??" She was facing a man wearing all black and a mask. You could tell her was grinning. "Oh, so you don't know?" he taunted, laughing as he swung his gun into firing position as well. The girl's stance faltered for a fraction of a second, but the man noticed. "Shoot me, Evie. Let me see your father, after all, I miss my partner in crime. Let me take a visit to prison! "The girl's hair, which had once been pulled back into a ponytail, flipped sideways around her, creating an alarmingly formidable view as the sun rose over the treetops in the distance. The sunrise cast the surrounding area into a golden glow, momentarily blinding the man long enough for the girl to pull the trigger. The following gunshot was deafening to the girl's ears, as she'd experienced so many explosions in the last few hours her hearing was nearly gone. The sun rose completely over the Paris skyline, making the girl's messy red hair resemble thousands of Copper Feathers.

Phoenix wakes, she is lying on a somewhat soft hospital bed, hooked up to machinery beeping in time with her heartbeat. It starts rapidly beeping in protest, when a flash of fear rushes through her as she realizes she is bound hands and feet to the bed. Her Phoenix and it's fire is there in an instant, but the cuffs don't relinquish. A torrent of flame erupts around her, setting fire to the mattress and sheets, but the frame doesn't budge. "Emergency fire protocol activated. Start oxygen deprivation" a computerized female voice says. Phoenix can hear a hissing sound and then instantly can't catch a breath. As her flames are extinguished, she again falls unconscious. After a rocky start with the Avengers, she found exactly the people to help her haunt the monsters of her past. "I am the monster they made, the monster they are not allowed to forget." And she finds (steamy) love with Natasha Romanoff. Phoenix is an old character of mine, who has been with me for about 15 years. She once was in a world of make belief for me, but now she has found, where she belongs. It's obvious that he's much more calmer now but anger was still evident in his tone. He vaguely heard the ding of the elevator as the guard started turning a dark shade of red. He was quite amused with the change of color in the guards skin. The sound of rushed footsteps fell deaf to his ears as he pressed his nails into the guards neck drawing drops of crimson liquid. He was about to sink his nails into the guards neck as he was useless to him when two voices call out his names both filled with shock. "HOÖR?!?"
