Olvan Carcer has always been withdrawn and invisible. This year he hopes no different than the year before.
On his way to school one day, he gets pulled aside by a gang that wants info on his dad. Having not seen his dad in years, he brushed them off and continued on his way.
He thought he would never see them again but the next day the same thing happened. This time the gang leader wanted him. Olvan is dragged into a situation that has no out.
Work for the gang or never see his mom and grandparents again. Olvan is conflicted as he makes his decision.
His world turns upside down and the withdrawn kid that no one knew suddenly becomes a new kind of outcast. A delinquent. Someone that his mother never knew before.
