Don't Leave Me//Taegi

When Taehyung is nine and Yoongi is eleven, they make a very important promise to each other.

It's December, too cold and snowing as the trees have lost their leaves and the flowers have stopped growing, yet the two boys lay side by side on the freezing grassy ground of Taehyung's backyard, under the stars and they promise each other. They lock their pinkies together as their small hands shiver and Taehyung curls closer to his favorite hyung and in that quiet scared voice, they swear.
