This is the story of a sixteen year old girl named Abigail, who prefers to be called Abby. When Abby was ten years old her parents passed away in a car crash, Abby was in the car with them but she managed to survive. After she is better and out of the hospital she is taken in by her aunt and uncle, but her uncle loses his job and Abby is taken away. Abby is sent to a new home, but when she starts getting abused and reports it, child services comes to her recuse and she is taken in by a lady named Kim and her husband while she waits to be taken in by another family. One day the Richter family comes to the house and say that they are interested in Abby, so Kim  talks with the parents while the two sons talk with Abby. Abby ends up going home with them. Stephen and Daniel Richter are in the band eleven past one and introduce Abby to Steve Patenaude, Kyle Bykiv and Dan Beattie. Will Abby tell her life story to all the boys? Will she make new friends at her new school? Will she be able to forget what happened to her parents? Will she get rid of her cancer when it comes back? Set after the events of 911 Season 6 Episode 9, Red Flag... Eddie makes his choice and pursues a relationship with Buck. This comes with the trials and tribulations of getting together, being in love, the lightning strike, Buck's recovery, the secret relationship reveal, parental drama, and Buck's past as a SEAL coming back to haunt the 118. I wrote a large chunk of this story during the winter hiatus. Started posting on the archive in February. All of this is already posted there. You may have already read this there. This story will be ongoing and will deal with some heavy themes. Trigger warning up front. They will deal with, but not tolerate homophobia, ableism, Bobby's AA, Buck's history of abuse, Maddie's is mentioned, Eddie's family drama. These triggers and others make an appearance... None are tolerated, and they overcome things as a team and a family. There will be drama, angst, violence, smut, cursing, etc... There will be some angst between the characters. No character bashing ... they actually will deal with their issues to move past them. There is some drama between Buck and Maddie very early ... and then Buck and Eddie against Bobby... Eddie and Bobby, Buck and Chim... These are done to actually deal with plots the show leaves hanging.
