"Charlotte, one medium Mocha Frappuccino!" I looked up and saw my cherished coffee sitting on the to-go counter. Quickly I clasped my hand around the cold, plastic cup and went on my way. I couldn't help but let my mind shift to a place that I dreaded. Him. ~Flashback~ One shove is all it took for me to fly down the stairs. The 12 steps that I would walk down everyday towards the living room to make sure that HE was still asleep. Passed out on the couch. The 12 steps that he pushed me down countless times before... Why was this time so different? ~End of flashback~ My thoughts were cut off my someone bumping into me. I looked up only to be met by familiar chocolate brown eyes that gazed back at me in shock. ______________________________ Hi, so this is my first serious story, so please don't hate on it. Also!!!
