Sam knows all the stories and myths. She has read nearly every book in the library pertaining to werewolves, vampires, ogres, dragons, hobbits, fauns, and unicorns. She even knows which pantheon all the gods of myth belong to.
But they are just stories right? Despite how much she wishes there were creatures even odder than her in the world, she is still living in a boring world. There has never been the slightest hint that the supernatural lives alongside us.
