I felt Kira's cold hands wrapped around my neck. Her peach painted nails dug into my throat and pushed on my airway. "If you think you can go around and fuck other people's man, then you have another thing coming you dirty bitch!", her valley girl voice rang in my ears.

"Katie, I'm doing this so you don't get hurt!", he threw his hands over his face. I ran over to grab his arms to look at his puffy face. My arms wrapped around to the front of him as he turned himself away from me. My torso pushed on back and I buried my head into his shoulder blades.

As the dark haired boy walked away the gun dropped out of the back of his pants and into the fall leaves. I knew he had something else planned, he always did.
