After a nuclear war, the people that survived gather to a giant tower. With multiple levels in it that correspond with the wealthiness of its inhabitants, teenagers must try hard in order to get a chance to live in a higher level.
One of these teenagers is Mira Fader, an exceptionally smart 18 year old, whose future hangs on the results of her final exams. However, with terrorists running rampant in the tower, will the future she worked hard to achieve be worth it? Will the absence of her mother influence any of her actions? Or will it just make facing the truth more difficult?
