Alina has just moved to Los Angeles, California from Houston, Texas where she has lived for all of her life. Her friend, Katie, had moved 3 years before. Alina did not know where her friend had moved to nor would Katie tell her. As she is getting used to Los Angeles, she runs into some strange figure out of the blue. Could this be Katie?
