16 year old Christine looks perfectly fine on the outside, but it's everything on the inside that's holding her back and slowly tearing her apart. Using her fake smile to push through all the pain, no one really knows what's going on with her. Her best friend Riley, a peppy optimistic cheerleader, is the only one who knows that she is battling anorexia and is sometimes depressed, and although her family knows all the struggles she's going through, it's hard to tell how she's actually ever feeling. Struggling with the occasional OCD attacks, Christine's barriers have fallen apart, and is never in the mood to talk about how she's feeling. Some things change though when she meets the new kid, Kyle, who might be hiding some secrets of his own as well.
