He is super smart and has a problem with getting bullied and beaten up especially by a named Lotor and his group of friends. He has anger issues but can't even use them to protect himself. Lance is a school jock/ class clown everyone in school loves the kid but Lance isn't always the happy kid everyone knows! He is scared people might figure out he is bi and think he is a monster. He never wants to be mean to anyone and his parents spoil him since they are rich but the down part is that there never home and he has to constantly take care of them with his older sister. There is a lot of power in a word. Lance blind to the impact a simple word has to Keith. It's not a word Lance uses very selfishly but the few times he does it breaks Keith when he has to disobey.
