Christine Daaé for as long as she could remember has heard a voice claiming to be her Angel Of Music that her Father, before he died promised to send her, speaking through the shadows of her room and whenever she was alone. Rumors at the Opera house have constantly been spreading about a phantom as mysterious accidents have begun spreading throughout the Palais Garnier, along with the handful of letters that have been left, filled with the demands from the Phantom Of The Opera. ----------------- A different interpretation of the Phantom Of The Opera based on the book by Gaston Leroux and musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Eighteen-year-old Christine is a singer in the Paris Opera. A strange man is watching her behind her dressing room and wants her to be his wife. He tricks her into believing that he is an angel from heaven, the Angel of Music. Eighteen-year-old Raoul is in love with her, but marriage is frowned upon because of the class difference between them. He is from minor royalty and she is from a poor family. He is suspicious of this "angel" and tries to rescue Christine from him when he kidnaps her and takes her to his home in the caverns underneath the opera house. This is my adaptation of the original book "The Phantom of the Opera" by Gaston Leroux. The book is now in the Public Domain. I have edited it for grammar and deleted a few parts that didn't contribute much to the story. I also changed the ending a bit. The illustrations are original pen and ink drawings by me. The story is not a "great romance," like the publicity from the stage play would like you to think. It is more of a crime/mystery/detective story.

She had been shot, and her whole world faded before her.... And then she was thrust into the light and bustle of the Palais Garnier once again. Christine Daaé the shy soprano with all the knowledge of her previous life has been awakened. She has the chance to re-do everything, and to change what had happened last time. But to secure her future, some things will have to go differently, meaning some people will have to get hurt. But when some start to remember? Only time will tell if this revival was worth it.
