Yugi, Ryo, Marik, Seto, and Yugi's adopted sister, Cheza (the Hikaris) were abandoned by the Yamis, Atem, Yami, Bakura, Malik, and Joey. As a result, they are bullied and decide to leave Domino. The Yamis finally realize their true feelings for the Hikaris and Tea's involvement in the Hikari's treatment too late. What happens when the Hikaris come back to Domino years later? How will the Hikaris react when they see their Yamis? And how will the Yamis react to seeing the Hikaris? Will the Yamis regain the Hikaris trust and hearts? And what is the reason for the Hikaris returning??

Yami is finding it difficult being away from everyone and now has returned to being Atem. A few years has passed and Yami finally has a mirror into Yugi's world and is able to see what he is up to. Unfortunately it isn't going well with Yugi as he is not the happy teen he used to be. Yami has had enough of watching and begs the gods to let him return and they do, giving him the body he used to have.
