Sadie becomes a social outcast after refusing to 'give it up' to her school's football star. He lies and tells everyone that she was easy and desperate.
A year later, Sadie isn't happy, but she's learned to deal. With her best friend Jillian by her side, she feels that she'll survive.
Jillian's player twin brother Jax is kicked out of his delinquent boarding school. He moves back with his family and takes a special liking to Sadie.
Jax doesn't approve of how everyone treats Sadie and decides that he's going to make Sadie popular.
But what if Sadie doesn't want to be popular?
Jax is going to stir everything up again.
Fights will be fought.
Reputations will be on the line.
Laws will be broken.
And hearts will be shattered.
Is it worth it?

"You should care, Dylan. You would still be living in the back of a car, stealing from Seven Eleven! Is that what you want?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The "Four Musketeers." That's what they called them. If they weren't all together they were two on two. And they give zero fucks about life. The Adopted one The Bad boy The Player The Best friend Dylan is like most troubled girls. She doesn't care about her grades, she skips school, hangs with the wrong crowds, and hates her parents. But of course there's a reason for all of this. Dylan is adopted. Dylan has always struggled with being adopted and she tends to fight everything in life. Many bad memories cause her to be the way she is. She desperately wants to forget her past, including some bad things she experienced, but the memories stay stuck in her mind. Dylan has three best friends who help her get by. The only three people she 100% trust and doesn't like to. They all have their own problems and lies they tell, but they help each other through it all. Especially her boyfriend Vince, who would do absolutely anything for her. He would die a thousand times over before anyone hurt Dylan. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Dylan's not just my whole life, she makes my life whole. Some days she's the only reason I get out of bed. Without her in my life there is no point in living. She's like the air I breathe. Without her I can't live. She's my best friend and I will love her to the day I die." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This summer Dylan gets the opportunity to do what every guidance counselor has claimed she's always wanted to do . . . split up her family. Will she realize splitting up her family won't help anything? Or will she just not care? After all she was abandoned once. Tori Anderson is the typical shy, nerdy seventeen year old. After her parents died, she's been living in a foster home with her foster mom and the other foster kids. Tori's had dyslexia for as long as she can remember and she hates it more than anything. She likes to keep her mouth shut and stay in the background. That's how she likes it; nothing more, nothing less. Connor Evans is a hot-tempered, care-free, reckless, eighteen year old bad boy. He couldn't care less about the people around him or what they think about him. He gets along with life by smoking, drinking, and partying. But one thing he is not so proud about is that he's one of the smartest kids in the senior class. I mean, how could a reckless bad boy like him get good grades? But Tori's dyslexia becomes a problem, and she's told that she can't graduate until she gets her grades up. What other choice did she have? She had to be tutored by the horrible Connor Evans...let's see where this goes.
