"My name's Lucifer, or if you like, you can call me Luci. I know it's kinda girly, but I personally like it. It's a rather interesting name, actually. Funnily enough, Lucy- the girl name- means 'light' like lightbulb. But then here I am in this-"

So this guy was the devil? Wow. He seems kinda seems like a hyperactive toddler with a large vocabulary and high on sugar. But with a hot bod. Damn, he's hot.

"Is that a pun? You know, 'hot'. Geddit?" He burst out laughing at his own joke.

Great. I thought that out loud.

"Yeah, I get it." I replied dryly. He's kind of a cute, awkward loon. Aside from the fact he's way taller than me, he's pretty much a kid. A hot kid, goddammit.

"But why God, though? Can't it be me? Like as in 'luciferdammit' or something of the sort." I SAID IT OUT LOUD AGAIN. WELL, FUCK. "But why?" I asked patiently.

"But why not?" He asked, raising a brow. 

"Because my ass says no!" I fired back loudly, forgetting I was in polite company and not with my friends.

"My ass says yes, sorry." 

"Your fat ass."

"Excuse me! My ass is well-defined and rounded very nicely, if I say so myself!"

Instead of explaining my circumstances, driven by a bizarre combination of adrenaline and fatigue, I leaned back on my heels and sent the largest loogie I'd ever conjured flying over and landing squarely between the eyes of the man before me. oOoOoOoOoOo As a late bloomer who was incapable of shifting yet, let alone making any contact with her wolf, Olive Ludovic's life was not off to the best start.
