Hello my name is Kate, and this is my story. Its about the year I turned 18/ my senior year in high school. Its about how I met Eric and its OUR story. It's a rather interesting story, rather strange, but full of romance (without going into detail) and has both good times and bad. We started out having a great summer, then school starts and things get rocking. We are finally smoothing things out when things take a turn for the worse. Now what's going to happen? Is he still going to be with me? Is he going to leave me? Does he really love me the way he says he does? WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?!?!?!?!?! Those were just some of the many things going through my head. But let me start at the begining....

Mature, fifteen year old Carmen receives an unexpected surprise when she finds out her close friend - tall, grey-eyed, Josh - likes her. Despite the surprise, she can't deny the chemistry between them and so both teens agree to pursue more outside of their friendhsip. I sighed inwardly. "No. It's just, I think-" I searched for my words. "I think we're better off where we started. As two people who like each other and vibe well, but without a title to complicate things." I couldn't figure out whether I was just saying this as an excuse not to be with him. My mind was jumbled. "Who are you", I typed questionably. "Just someone who loves you", he said. I blushed. I never felt this way before. Ever. But the only thing that's getting in the way is this screen. This isn't related to this story but, Hi i'm Kate. this is my first fully written story, though its only a short story i'm very proud of myself for fully committing to one theme and finishing it. This short story is very over dramatic and complicated because its my first story but I hope you enjoy. Description: "What are your summer plans?" My teacher asks the class. My classmates respond with the basic responses, vacation, beach, and hanging out with friends. I respond with vacation, but I don't even want to go to Orange County. It's not too far from where I live, but Sana Cruz and OC is a long drive.
