Before the other boy could fall back asleep, he asked a question. "Alec, why did you pretend to be drunk?" He knew that in asking this, he was admitting to the other boy that he cared. Alec's head lifted and he looked up at him with wide eyes "You know why." Their gazes locked, and Mark didn't dare blink. He thought back to Adam's words from earlier. Take the time to understand. So Mark did. He thought of his hands on Alec, taking advantage of the fact that the boy was wasted and most likely wouldn't remember in the morning. Then he thought about how he wasn't the only one to put his hands there. Sometimes they were guided, by Alec's own hands, and it realized that that if he wasn't drunk at the time, but sober, then Alec must have wanted his hands there. And then, Mark understood.

The fact it's got so many reads is crazy to me as it was just something I enjoyed. Some of the rude comments on it I understand but as I said I was very young and it does make me cringe to read it back now but please read and enjoy!*
