It's been over 50 years since the infamous heroes of Paris, France last transformed and fought an akuma.  They've long since retired and defeated Hawkmoth, who was revealed to be Gabriel Agreste, the world renowned fashion designer.  The two retired heroes hold the rest of the Miraculouses, safely hidden from the world until they were to be needed.

Their lives were peaceful, and they didn't expect for one of the former superheroes to be taken hostage in their own home from the criminals who broke in.  They tried to steal as many Miraculouses as they possibly can.  Fortunately, they only managed to steal one instead of them all, thanks to the help of the agents from HQ.  The stolen magical jewel being the Unlucky Miraculous.

The past heroes of Paris know that with the Ring of the Destruction in the hands of evil, the balance between the two will be unstable, so to stable the balance between the two and to save the Kwami of the Cat Miraculous, they must choose another Ladybug!

Plot Summary: In modern day Paris, 2 teenagers, Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste, use magical ancient artefacts known as Miraculous to transform into their hero personas Ladybug and Cat Noir when evil arises. Marinette carries the Earrings of the Ladybug and Adrien carries the Ring of the Black Cat. Marinette is crushing on Adrien and Cat Nor is falling for Ladybug, but neither of them know they're in love with each other. Their archenemy is Hawk Moth, later revealed to be Adrien's father Gabriel Agreste, who uses his own Miraculous, the Locket Brooch of the Butterfly, to turn people into supervillains when they feel negative emotion using small butterflies called akumas. He intends to gain the heroes' Miraculous to grant himself the wish of resurrecting his wife Emilie, who fell prey to using the damaged Brooch of the Peacock and fell into a coma, which will bend reality as they know it. Over the course of the series, as Hawk Moth's minions grow tougher, the heroes get help from Master Fu, the guardian of the Miraculous, who allows the heroes to borrow other Miraculous and recruit more heroes to help them, mainly Marinette and Adrien's classmates. Hawk Moth later gets the assistance from Mayura, a villainess using the damaged peacock using feathers called amoks to create sentimonsters, lifeforms created from someone's emotions, becoming his new partner in crime. Despite all the heroes they recruit and all the enemies they face, both Ladybug and Cat Noir promise each other it is thew 2 of them against the world.

Then all of a sudden she had a partner that popped out of nowhere and he called himself Cat Noir. She started to trust him, so they both started to fight the akumatized person side by side everyday until she started to fall for him. Without her knowing what's going on inside his head. Does he feel the same way too? Does he like me back? Those are some of the questions that hit her everytime they meet. Until one specific moment that shattered her heart into millions of pieces.
