Hannah Cole always believed herself to be normal, plain. Plain looking, plain sounding, not creative or abnormally smart, not having anything to make her stand out whatsoever. The only thing special about Hannah was her best friend, Jessica, the most popular girl in her admittedly tiny town, someone she trusts more than anyone else in the world. 

But, when a strange guy shows up at her high school, someone Jessica seems to know, things become abnormal. The world flips upside down and Hannah finds that she is anything but normal.

Many forget that the goddess of love was born from the raging sea, but she would do anything to protect her daughter. Adora was Aphrodite's last daughter. Her mother kept her hidden. But, her mother isn't the only one who can keep a secret, especially in a world where your role in society is everything. For there was a prophecy long before she was born: 'Aphrodite's last child would be the one to take the throne, Her paternity unknown. They would carve her face and never forget, for she would be the most beautiful that they had met Cursed for the same fate as her mother Forced to leave her love for another The only way she shall break this curse is if she defeats the first' "Looks like the princess doesn't need saving after all."
