Violet Grayson's life just took on a whole new level of odd. Ever since Violet and her family moved into a new house in Greenwood she starts hearing weird noises coming from her closet, almost like gears. Legend has it on the 4th of August children all over Greenwood dissaper with no trace other than the fact they've all heard the gears working and told stories about Cogsworth.

Carvings That Bind
Alyssan Bogard didn't live a long life. She died when she was 17. All she remembers is waking up in her backyard. She has no memory of her death and only has a vague idea about what happened from what she's heard while lingering around her family and previous school. Alyssan has no idea why she's lingering around as a spirit and wants nothing more than to move on. That is until she meets Sawyer. Sawyer Garrison is the guy the teachers adore, who people want to befriend, and who girls want to date. He's the one who's been voted most likely to succeed in life after school. His family life is shit. Sawyer wants nothing more than to get out of dodge as soon as the opportunity presents itself and with only seven months, two weeks, and four days left it couldn't come sooner. That is until he meets Alyssan. Neither expected to meet the other and neither expected the horrendous outcome that arises from it. Alyssan never ran away and she didn't die of any natural causes either. She was murdered and the fact that her killer is still on the loose scares both of them. The fact that the killings started again is even worse. With the killer targeting more girls, she and Sawyer might be the only hope of stopping the deaths. The Medium

Outline of 'Small Town Spirits'
When I was fourteen-years-old, I planned this whole story out about a girl who could see spirits of the dead. I never ended up writing this book, but I still have the plans and in my short stories, I often allude to things that happened in this novel. For the benefit of everyone, I have decided to share my chapter outline just so you have context on what is occurring. The circumstances were deemed accidental and it was swept under the rug. Truth is, someone covered up the whole situation and I was sent somewhere I knew no one would find me. I was swept under the rug too. Critter Ridge Orphanage is an old building placed in the pines somewhere in the state of New Jersey, run by a kindly woman and housing a family of others like me. Boys and girls all different in their own aspects. They didn't like me and I didn't like them, which was fine. Miss Huld, the owner, seemed to like me enough and that was all I needed. Things changed, though. They found a dead body on our property and everyone scrambled to lock the doors and bar the windows. The normal kids at school all started to edge away from us, from me in particular. They called us witches and devil worshippers. They were scared they might be next. I couldn't keep my nose out of where it didn't belong and then everyone was involved in the mystery. There's ghosts around every corner in this house, and if we don't figure out what's wrong here, we might just become the next ones.Complete
