The Girl Who Laughed at the Dawn

It's the year 5018 and young Vlaya has certainly gained a reputation for herself.
The lunatic, the strange one, the mental one.
As the other humans say.
But it's hard to keep your sanity when you know that the Earth will soon be no longer. That your world would soon be destroyed.
Not that there was much to destroy.
Who would have thought, 4000 years ago, that the Earth would end up how it was today: depleted, barely enough food, toxic air, poisoned oceans, and a slowly deteriorating city that never ends.
The world is beyond hope; and Vlaya knows this.

Xane on the other hand, is the sensible one. Level headed and practical. But there's something about Vlaya that draws him to her. He finds himself following her and wanting to know more about her, mystified by her lack of concern and care.
But Xane must be careful, because Vlaya holds a secret that could save humanity, or crush it to bits...
